When people with disabilities can access the natural environment, it leads to a more inclusive and healthier world for everyone, everywhere.
The Peterson Family Foundation
We are extremely grateful for the support of the Peterson Family Foundation in establishing the Accessible Outdoors Program. Their contribution was made in honour of Kevin Peterson, an outdoor enthusiast who inspired many with his passion for nature. Without their significant funding, this program would not have been possible. We are honoured for all they have done to ensure more people with disabilities can access Canada’s outdoors.

We would also like to recognize the organizations listed below, who are helping us remove barriers in the outdoors for people with disabilities.
