The third theme of our Inclusive School Year is “Be Bold”. By drawing on themes of personal leadership, social change and caring for your community, this module encourages youth to become difference makers and advocate for change.
Get started by booking your RHF Ambassador presentation below, or explore additional videos, lesson plans and activities on this topic by grade level. These activities and lessons encourage young people to speak up when they encounter situations that are inaccessible or exclude people with disabilities. If you have already booked a presentation, you’ll also find pre and post presentation activities here:

IDEAs on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Post-Presentation Activity: Conversations on the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) are becoming more common, however disability and accessibility are sometimes left out of the conversation. This lesson will explore diversity, equity and inclusion through the lens of physical disability, and discuss the barriers which youth with disabilities face.
Investigating Accessibility (Secondary Grades)
In this activity, students complete an accessibility review of their school and discuss how physical accessibility is an important equity issue.
