I was also recruited by the Accessibility Services Department at the Foundation, consulting on the rebuilding of the Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa. In the summer of 2017 I also consulted at Base des Plein air Bon Depart, a camp for children and adults with disabilities in Wentworth-Nord, Quebec on behalf of the Canadian Tire Jump Start Foundation.

Other work for this department included consultations with The Victoria International Airport, McGirr Elementary School’s inclusive playground in Nanaimo, BC, and I am currently a member of the design team for the intended rebuild of the Crystal Pool Health and Wellness Centre in Victoria, BC.

In concert with running my own consulting business, I am currently employed by the Rick Hansen Foundation as an Accessibility Assessor, contributing to the assessment of 1100 facilities across British Columbia over an 18 month contract. In the last 13 months I have accumulated a further 1800 hours of related assessment experience.
