- Spinal cord injury, and the need for research and quality of life initiatives
- The value of giving back to the community, and making a difference in the lives of others
- Leadership and team-building skills

Rick Hansen Foundation Speaker to be a part of your Schools In Motion event, or to speak at your school at anytime during the school year. Rick Hansen Foundation Speakers are volunteer speakers with spinal cord injury who share their stories in order to spread the message that any obstacle can be overcome by hard work and determination.
