Driven by the dream of a world without barriers where people of all abilities can achieve their full potential, Rick Hansen set out on a journey that would make history – the Man In Motion World Tour.
From March 21, 1985 to May 22, 1987, Rick and his team wheeled over 40,000 kilometres through 34 countries. The Tour sparked a global movement to create a world that is accessible to everyone, everywhere, where barriers are removed, and all people have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
