From the rousing opening keynote with Charles Tator encouraging the delegation to keep the pipeline of research open, to Kurzweil's prediction for the future in the field of SCI and Rick Hansen's challenge to never give up on our dreams, the last three days have proven to be an incredible experience full of knowledge sharing, networking and discussions.
The breadth of expertise and knowledge brought together from across the continuum of care was unprecedented and as many noted, critical to shaping the agenda of SCI research moving forward. With over 24 countries represented, nearly 500 delegates came together and made the world of SCI research a little bit smaller.
